Breeding - Haras des Joanins

History of the stud farm

The Haras was created in 2017 by Stéphane Monier, an amateur with a passion for breeding show jumping horses.

The aim is to produce horses for the top level, but also horses close to man that will please amateurs. The stud's female genetics have been acquired over time through the purchase of female fillies from the best French and European strains.

We produce around 20 foals a year.

The Haras des Joanins is a frequent prizewinner in breeding competitions in the regional and national competitions, and its horses in training have achieved excellent results with our partner riders in both classic cycles and CSI, from 2* to 5*.

Buguette Platière

The Buguette Platière line, represented by two broodmares Bianca de Riverland (CSI 150) and Déesse de Riverland (CSI 140 winner), is the line of Gentleman Platière (160), USA de Riverland (160) and the stallion Popstar Lozonais (155). She has produced Fleur des Joanins (CSI 150) and Jolicoeur des Joanins, a very promising six-year-old gelding. Numerous foals from this line are close to us and very promising.

Betty de Kreisker

The line of Betty de Kreisker, Quindy de Kreisker, Jumpy de Kresiker and Shirel de Kreisker. We have a daughter of Jumpy de Kreisker (Djedda de Hus by Ulixe), but also Goldikova de Kreisker daughter of Shirel by Toulon and her daughter Kassiopée des Joanins by Cornet Obolenskyi who is a broodmare at stud. We also have two Quindy daughters, one by Mylord Carthago, the other by Chacco Blue.

Myrtille Paulois

The Myrtille Paulois line with two daughters of Dalou Manciaise herself by Baloubet du Rouet. One daughter by Arrezzo VDL and one by Chacco Blue.

Ratina d'la Rousserie

The line of Ratina d'la Rousserie and Viking d'la Rousserie with our brood mare Greta de Brekka by Tobago Chevrier.

Sophie du Château

Sophie du Château's line with Kolea des Joanins, granddaughter of Kolea du Château by Diamant de Semilly and Mylord Carthago.

Quidam de Revel

The Quidam de Revel line with Lindsay de Riverland by Allegreto.

Caucalis

The strain of Caucalis and Nobylis with the brood mare Lovestar des Joanins (daughter of Veryquikstar de Bavoz, family of Syrius de Bavoz and Qupidon de Bavoz).

Nifrane

La souche de Nifrane / Fragrance de Chalusse and Mylord Carthago with Liberty des Joanins (daughter of Hottonie de Kreisker by Diamant de Semilly).

Telysette K

The bloodline of Telysette K (full sister of 2016 Olympic champion Big Star). We have Krack des Joanins (CSI 155), Léopard des Joanins Z very promising stallion by L'Arc de Triomphe and Telysette K by Quick Star. Léopard's own sister (L'Etoile des Joanins Z) is a broodmare at the stud and we already have three daughters by her.

The Roofs line, Australia with Djaina d'Emm who gave us the wonderful Kiss Me by the Joanins.

Minne I

The line of Minne I: Dam of the stallion Conrad de Hus, from whom we have a uterine sister by Corrado I called Conrad Girl de Hus, from whom we have kept 4 daughters at stud.

Bella Donna

Bella Dona's line with her uterine sister by Baloubet du Rouet, our Lamborghini de Hus broodmare.

Usha Van't Roosekker

The Usha Van't Roosekker line with our Priska des Joanins by El barone 111.

Qerly Chin
