The Haras des Joanins, an exceptional place dedicated to horses.
Located in the heart of the village of Romans, in the Ain region, the Haras des Joanins today extends over almost 80 hectares of meadows and modern facilities. This unique structure, designed for the physical and mental well-being of horses, was created in 2016 with an initial 40-hectare property, before expanding in 2021 with the acquisition of a second neighboring site.
Our facilities, designed and developed in collaboration with ethologist André Audinot, reflect our commitment to providing horses with a healthy, balanced environment that respects their nature. Every space has been designed to guarantee their comfort, integrity and good health.
From lush green meadows and modern stables to a riding arena, galloping track and extensive working facilities, everything has been designed to combine sporting performance and well-being. This combination of state-of-the-art facilities and natural spaces makes the Haras des Joanins an ideal setting for breeding top-level sport horses.
Because equine well-being is an absolute priority, the site is constantly evolving: new developments are regularly undertaken to offer even greater comfort, safety and harmony to the horses that grow up and train here.
